Aircraft

There is a wide variety of aircraft available to fulfill specific flight requirements. Here is a list of typical aircraft and their use.

Piper Single Engine. One of the most common single engine aircraft producers has built a number of single engine models that were named after native American tribes such as Cherokee, Warrior, Arrow. These aircraft remain popular personal flying machines and cruise at around 220-250 km/h up to 12'000 feet (4000m) altitude.

Cessna Single Engine. Cessna is probably the best known light aircraft producer. The high wing configuration is characteristic for Cessnas and make them ideal for sightseeing flights. They have similar performance ranges as Piper aircraft.

Robin Single Engine. Robin, a French aircraft manufacturer, is a popular training aircraft. It's light fabric construction allows high payloads and is thus also popular with weekend flyers.

Mooney Single Engine. Mooney is synonymous with high performance and speed. Among the fastest light single engine aircraft, they are a joy to fly and excellent for instrument flying.

Multiengine Aircraft. The Piper Seneca is one of the most successful light multiengine aircraft, because of its sturdy construction and performance. With its two engines it cruises at 250-280 km/h and up to 15'000 ft (5'000m).
